That is just stupidity.

He's not some insane forward or anything, but he can play 80mins in NRL... that automatically puts him well ahead of most middles for England
 
Now need a United win in an hour thanks and it would have been a good night
 
So I'm guessing there is absolutely no post game.

Have either of the Australian broadcasters even sent anyone over to England?

pretty much, the difference between NZ, Samoa, Tonga is probably less than England these days.

Australia has easily the best spine by a country mile but in outside backs and forwards those nations are way closer than england imo.

Can't blame England though, most of their team is playing in SL which is quite a bit behind NRL, even if more players are coming over, they just need NRL quality spine players to make it much closer imo.

Mikey Lewis, and Jack Welsby need to be in NRL last year honestly, these players can honestly develop to be elite players in the game but they are killing their development by not moving over already.
 
If Walsh continues playing like that, Edwards will never see the 1 jersey again.

By far the best player on the pitch. Just continuing his great form.
 
Watched the game this morning. That ruck speed was diabolical. I thought Australia were garbage most of the game and still won by 20.

England played not to lose by 40 and their ref accomated that.

4.10 second play the ball for Australia and 3.42 for England. That is hilarious. Never seen that before.
 
The most dissapointing thing about england was their forwards. Thats normally their strength but they were shithouse last night. Wheres the big aggressive psychos? Wane has really stuffed up with this squad, i dont see where he can improve teamlist-wise in the pack.

The other bad thing was their attack in the oppostion 20m. Austtalias defence was just too good for them, they had their chances but they didnt know how to finish it off.

The positives were the wingers, herbie, halves were good but need to gel better, KPP wasnt bad, litten was great, kmowles... and then not much else. Smithies needs to come in (english nrl players were noticably englands best as they knew what to expect), with brimson off thw bench to be an attacking difference OR straight up replace welsby if he has another stinker (normally rate him but terrible last night, stiffled the attack).
 
That was 1980's England bad, just nothing. Really disappointed.

Thought Australia started slowly which is normally the way, we lost at Wembley in 90, 94 and 95 World Cup. But that just shows how bad England were; Australia was at 80% and won easily.

England should be thankful Australia didn't play any club games or otherwise they win this Test by 40.

Walsh was great, only other double on debut I can remember is Peter Jackson in 1988.

Munster and Grant warmed into it and the second half was good.

The ruck was painful; Atkins will have to blow 100 penalties if England do that again. Australia conditioned to move out of the ruck and England still didn't take advantage of quick PTB's given to them.
