Golf - Who Plays?

GCO have the Qi10 on sale for $600 or so, was looking at that, good reviews.
I'm looking at a Ping G440 Max from a mate, or a G430 10k Max from eBay, both around the $500-$650 range.

Had my best round in a few months today, I missed 6 birdie putts inside 10 feet, so it could have been a much, much better day.

Bought myself a Golf Skate Caddy, it's basically a scooter for single person use, gets up to 15 km/h and on a full charge you get 36 holes out of it. It cost $3800 which is pricey but for myself with a smaller car and not wanting to lug around a buggy with a trailer, it's ideal.

It's probably the most fun I have ever had on a golf course. 15km/h doesn't sound that quick but when you are standing on something going that fast, it feels like it. It rides the terrain perfectly, it rides as it sounds like it would, like a skateboard. Perfectly stable though, no skateboarding required. It probably has to be designed that way to deal with the lumps and bumps that you'd encounter on a public golf course.

The number of people who are in awe that I have seen on the course is a bit shocking, I thought it would be more widely known about, it's a brilliant way to get around.

i lost my putter yesterday.

how the **** do you lose a putter? it's the last club you hold before you go back to your bag? the 3 others in my group are as perplexed as I am.

somewhere between green 4 and green 5 my putter has disappeared into thin air.

so guess i'm in the market for a new one. had to borrow my mates odyssey 2 ball yesterday (similar to the ai-one) with baseball grips and it felt way nicer than mine anyway lol, so will probably look at that.

what y'all use? unless i'm recalling incorrectly you have a scotty @BooKhaki ?

I was just reading back, this older guy and what is probably his grandson have been playing on the same day as me (at least twice) and both times, I have picked up the grandson's sw off the turf and given it back, obviously.

I dread the day I leave my clubs on the ground and forget to pick it up. Although being a leftie, I will probably get it back at the clubhouse.

Haha ever since i dropped 3k on a new set I'm like a hawk.

I've seen them flying around Wynnum, they look quite fun to use. I'm most likely going to buy an MGI sometime next year to ease up the tension on my back from pushing around the set, that or be a proper fat **** and just buy an electric cart.

just walk you lazy bastards (unless you physically can't, in which case well yeah...)

having said that, you'll never see me carrying a set. **** that noise.

Also, club champs starting this week at Ashgrove. Sat, Sun, then the following 2 Sats

Just hoping to beat last years dismal efforts, no real aim apart from that.

nett 68 and nett 72 after the first two rounds. should've been a bit better on both but ****ed the 18th on consecutive days with OB's. clean those up and i'm definitely within a shot of the nett championship for C (i've no chance on gross, dudes that are bordering b/c will flog me by 10).

LAB DF3 finally arrived after about 3months of waiting. Couldn't come at a better time after hitting 14/18 GIR last weekend and having almost 40 putts.

7 shots off the c grade nett lead going into the final round this Saturday. If i have a low 90s round its well within reach.
Been grinding heaps at the range lately with the short game and starting to pay dividends.
First round in god knows how long, possibly forever, that i had no 3 putts. 31 for the round.

I've seen those on Temu and people reckon they're pretty good.

They aren't. They look the same, but they don't hold up to the testing which what makes the genuine putters good with the zero torque etc.

Looked to be holding up on youtube when this guy was using a revealer, the only thing I would doubt is the longevity of the paint and all that, haven't seen a bad review yet.

If someone tried to sell me that on marketplace I wouldn't know the difference

4 off the winner. 43 front but a dismal 56 back including 5 off the tee on one hole and 30cm ob on another. *****.

But tbh ill take a 43 front every day considering I started 1 with a 7. Just need to improve the back half.

Probs need to eat something as im playing, seem to die in the arse concentration wise on the back.

Also, 3rd round in a row with no 3 putts. 🥳
