I'm really not sure what the selectors see in Matt Short.

In fairness, I thought Beardman was pretty impressive on debut too, quite a few edges went for four, not much you can do about that.

Connolly is also in a major batting slump at the moment.

I really hope Bartlett gets a test debut this year.
 
So there's a bigger kryptonite to Aus batters than spinners that don't move it... spinners that do move it... Pakistan spinners looking unhittable for the Aussie bats
 
Good thing there’s not a living legend in the form of his life that’s the best batsman in Aus against spin by a country mile just sitting there not being picked hey.
 
Australia v England today in the finals. Australia's quicks have been the strength, but India bowled 31 overs of spin on this ground last game. Mayes has the most runs with 352 for the World Cup and Lumsden has 13 wickets.

Lachmund has 12 wickets and Byrom has nine.
 
This should be a very big step up in class compared to the other sides they've played. This Aus side looks very strong but it means nothing if they don't do it tonight on the big stage.
 
Need to keep taking wickets and keep them under 200

Yep the tourney was there for the taking but oh well. Some really good players to watch develop though so that’s promising. Peake is amazing for his age.
 
India just had a u19 player score 175 off 80! They are 30 overs in going at almost 10 an over...in a final. Far out.
 
Wow man, wow. I just looked this kid up...he's 14! What an absolute freak.
