I think his problem was he thought he was Martin Lang and it took it's toll on him physically. He was actively seeking heavy contact. It was quite odd. He actually appears to enjoy contact in defence also.

The problem was the position he was playing can't keep doing what he was without gassing. He also appeared to end up a bit injured.

Honestly I don't think he was being lazy. He just decided for some reason to want to get bashed.
 
If we want to move Carrigan to prop sooner than later then I think Tawha could potentially play lock a bit like Erin Clark in the short term.

Cobbo’s skill and decision making at centre is underrated in my opinion. Definitely wouldn’t be looking to move him to the forwards.

I am pretty sure Cam McInnes is off contract next year. He was picked in Madges Blues side.

Patty and X at Prop. Cam McInnes at Lock.

Just until we can find a replacement for X off the bench.

However, this could be solved if, Big Ben, Aublix or Talty or someone from development, produce a solid 2026 year. 100+ metres and 95% TE off the bench. Obviously, we will have CJ who can produce good numbers, but he needs an impact partner to make the rotation work, where our starters can get a rest.

Another option could be Sam McIntyre from the Cowboys. He is solid, and last year and 2024 played lock, prop and a bit of centre.

I don’t think McInnes would be the right signing for us. Let him go to Perth.

Jensen would be good coming from the bench alongside Te Kura. McIntyre is okay, but I’d really only want to sign him if he was on a bottom dollar contract.. I’m sure there’s better players around in QLD cup. It’s a shame we didn’t hold onto Patston, he’ll probably have a great year for Titans starting on the edge.

Unless a prop is breaking their contract to come to us we might need to have a chat to some English Forwards to see if they have any interest in coming to Brisbane. There isn't much available for 2027.
Ata Mariota could help the middle forward rotation and Michael Molo has some size but there's not much quality there.

well we don't have billy this year either basically so we should just phone it in for the year. we're premiers up until the 80th minute of the GF so lets run this bitch into the ground,
