Q-CUP 2026 Queensland Cup Discussion

Burt extends at the Bears until end of 27. Surely if Bears have a good year this year NRL teams take some notice.

One premiership
Two Grand Finals
Two minor premierships
Finals 23, 24 and 25.
45/67 games.

Bears have also won Meninga and Cyril in his time as head coach and A grade lost the Grand Final last year.

PNG Hunters 20 def. Northern Pride 16

Still can't find any results for Cutters/Capras nor Dolphins/Magpies.

Would love to see Arthars go to fullback for a bit. We need to start sorting out the pecking order behind Walsh, and after last week's effort I'm thinking Perham could be fourth in line.

I’d love to see Preston Riki flourish and secure a rotating role in our top 17 at some point this year.

He’s a big body and versatile enough to play anywhere in the forwards from what I have seen.

Also a JFH clone physically, and from what I’ve seen on social media over the years was taken under his wing. Not sure why Penrith released him when they’re bleeding forwards, and whilst that’s not a great reflection, I’m sure he’s picked up some good habits over the years around that drop.

Always had one eye on him in nsw cup and thought he’d be an heir apparent at the foot of the mountains. I hope their loss is our gain.

Ps I thought he played a solid role in the all stars game. Got through solid defensive load for no misses and 1 ineffective.

Agree with above would be nice to see riki have a good game has more to offer

Handy side they have got there.

Worthing moved to fullback against Dolphins today.

Gundry fullback for Bears
Poese fullback for Souths.

Tupuse shows incredible strength to score from dummy half.

Gundry from the scrum- fantastic speed and just too smart scores on the left.

NRL trial last week and this week both have started well.
