NRL 2026 Round 2 Discussion

Striking at the ball ripping the ball pulling the ball or pulling the ball carrying arm is a penalty in a 2 man tackle.
Tigers game Samuela "strikes" at the ball on Burns and it was classed as an error.

Isolating the ARM away from the body is none of those things

The NRL is off the chain this season already..nothing makes sense and the games are junk. We need to **** the 6 again rule off.

Not sure what you're on about isolating the arm away from the body .
Citing something that happened in a different game is not relevant.
The Atkinson strip was clearly an penalty and the Meany drop went backwards clearly. Those were what we were talking about.

We having fun with these scorelines yet? Defence not just taking a back seat this season, it's all the way at the back of the bus.

Meany moving forward and hits his right arm... momentum means it was dragged forward to some extent... MOST refs call that a knock on even if they are facing backwards.

Citing previous examples is precedent for how the rules are interpreted the majority of the time

Take out the fullback and target the replacement.

Genius coaching.

You got the penalty by staying down Gutho, but at what cost.

We gonna need the stat on most points scored across an entire round, cause that record's getting broken sometime this month

You watch the Storm and I just wish we had a 9 that had the all round game of Grant and the back rowers that run like their ones, every single run they make is with purpose, although we got them in that final I still think to match them game to game thats what we are missing.
