I actually don't know where they should go.

Their absolute preferred option would be taking Ballin off us to make him an assistant and hiring a coach to be head coach for 2-3yrs... i.e. the Bennett transition plan.

They absolutely should not throw Ballin to the wolves and promote him from secondary assistant to head coach... but their owners are morons and will probably do it to appease their old boys.

If I was Ballin I am absolutely wanting to take Teo's job at the broncos and to learn from one of the best winners in the league over the last 5yrs, and basically over Madge's career... he's ****ing won everything!!... landing at broncos with Madge is probably second only to Ivan or Bellamy at the moment.

Dessie feels like an obvious choice, but he failed dismally at titans... six again era is a new ****ing world when it comes to the current meta.

Brad Arthur is probably their best bet to be honest, but who knows where they go

He's been fulltime at Brisbane since 22 he was the development coach in 22 when Richards went to Redcliffe and assistant coach since 23.

Plus, his three years at Manly so he's experienced.

But what's he in charge of as an assistant coach?

Under Madge we've had Barrett and Teo as the attack and defence assistants... under Kevvie it was Cartwright and eventually Lee Briers I think?

Can't recall who was there before Briers... was it Matterson?

I don't see Dolphins or Titans sacking Woolf or Hannay any time soon given they know they are years away from being where they need to be.

Even if they sack them, what are the chances they go for another inexperienced coach?

When he was development coach he was in charge of the younger players in the top 30 and when he's been assistant he's done the middle ruck and attack.
 
Ballin must interview well; he got the Broncos gig while he was teaching at Wavell.

Nah... he has to be done now... he's taken broncos to a spoon and then had all signs of taking manly to a spoon, which would be their first ever.

His coach of the year in 2018 looks more and more like he just knifed Madge in the back and ran off his coattails
