Okay makes me feel a bit better . Still sucks! Was spewing when I found out he wasn’t playing next week and then Hunt stood on that and said cheekbone!
 
Just sucks our depth comes to Arthur’s like come on .

If only we had depth in fullbacks like we do with hookers.
 
Depends on how bad the fracture is, could be 2 weeks or 4/5.
Draws: Cows, Tigers, Dogs, Roosters and Eagles.
All winnable with Arthurs at fullback if he's as consistent as Tonight.
 
Madge says he was happy with Arthars at fb as he is a first grade player, but will review the game to decide if he plays 1 next week, and will leave it to the leadership group to decide if Karp is back after 1 week or not

Given the shit stains will do their usual - injure them if we can't beat them - definitely safer to have Jesse at the back - knows how to protect himself better.
 
I think people here need to hear that not all fractures are equal. There's a long list of fracture types, with some being catastrophic to some being little more than a bone bruise. Lets see what the scans show.

After just seeing the footage of him on the green whistle (as typing out this) and the swelling around the eye, it's not great - fractured orbital is my guess.

Yeah, we could have copped a worse window of games for him to be out for. All of those are winnable with even a skeleton crew.
 
The last time Walsh suffered a fractured eye socket/cheekbone, we played the Cowboys the following week and beat them 28-12.

That was the night Reyno absolutely destroyed them with his boot and we debuted the diamonds jersey.

Perham has been strong for Souths, not creating much he just leaves that for Duffy but safe and bringing the ball back and making ground has been his thing.

He's taken on a real Edwards or even Hunt role for Souths. Which is what they were lacking in Sailor and Latrell, and everything has improved this year for the Magpies with a bit of safety back there.
 
Yep we might actually be down 4 spine players next week and possibly a few weeks in the case of Walsh and Bunt.

Looks like Duffy might get his chance.
