POST GAME [Round 6, 2026] - Broncos vs Cowboys

To be entirely impartial, Pat's was pretty bad. Rising, shoulder direct to the head, forceful. He'll do 2 weeks for that. Neames was head contact, but without the rising (as far as the very brief replay I saw anyway) so technically will be graded lower if my crude interpretation is correct.
I saw Pats as a head clash first and then shoulder. Neames was just straight up shoulder to head with no mitigating factors. I could be wrong of course but that's how I saw it live.

If we were a little better in a couple of areas, we win that game.

Not too disappointed really. We showed plenty of fight and we were right in it in the final minutes of the game, but we felt the loss of Walsh, Hunt and Reyno in the crunch moment.

It would only be mitigating if Pat's shoulder bounced off the ball or shoulder. It was direct to the head, the headclash is nothing but incidental.

Neame was tackling a MUCH taller man who wasn't falling though.

That non-sin bin and not even a penalty on the Mariner run was perhaps somehow even worse than the ridiculous disruptor call. They were absolutely horrendous.

There’s obviously an agenda going on against the club, the fact they went to the lengths of trying to troll the club over naming some cupboard after big dumb Gordie shows how obvious it is.

Close (manufactured) result, Pat getting suspended, and Madge losing gives them more than enough fodder to talk about all week.

And they’ll conveniently just brush aside all of our pre- and mid-game outs

Was that the one where Mariner got up screaming at Klein? That game really sucked.

Yep just heart breaking to lose when it is entirely on the ref. The Cows shouldn't have even been in a position to win it. Their heads had dropped and we were about to run away with it. Instead, salt gets rubbed into the wound by ANOTHER phantom six again and suddenly the Cows are over while we're still thinking about what the heck just happened.

The NRL would be handling out an unreserved apology if they were a legitimate professional organisation. Instead Annersley will come up with something everyone laughs at to say why it was ok.

Imagine if this was the grand final - because the way this sport has gone - this will happen in a grand final where a team will lose the entire season due to a sudden rule change in the middle of the game.

Not suggesting it shouldn't have been a bin. It was forceful and to the head he should have gone.

Pat's just has the lack of control due to rising into the tackle - this will trigger the lack of control part. That's where his will get graded more harshly.

Let's face it. The Broncos losing creates so much noise in the media.. We're just here for the clicks and views. The world is a pretty shitty place. I just want milk that tastes like real milk and I just want Rugby League to be real Rugby League.
I agree but milk makes me shit myself and rugby league has the same effect currently

Ok just saw the disallowed try (part of the 20mins I missed)

Gem clearly looks at the ball once he realises how close he is and then Chester had already dropped it by the time he affected anything.

Absolute joke.
