Big game on Saturday; Taukolo is out and he’s Calvin’s number one target.

Nudgee on tour over in South Africa so Calvin will be missing his strike fullback Barry Taukolo (Broncos) who he has struck up a nice combo with and Norths will be missing skipper and lock Billy Spicer (Dolphins) and strike outside back Eli Rauluni (Dolphins).

Should he be though? We all know @1910 in whatever form that is has a pretty good idea of what happens in the inner sanctum. And how or why that is, for mine I have no idea and am personally quite interested to know how but I respect that he probably won’t tell us. But I also think it’s pretty clear that if the club is letting him do said other things for 4 weeks (potentially longer) to me says it’s likely none of @1910’s business to be sharing what that is with us. Absolutely none of our business and as much as my sticky beak ass would love to know its not our place to know.

He’s a contracted player, we have a right to want to know. All @1910 has to say is it’s personal stuff and fine, no more info needed. If on the other hand he’s off doing ultra marathons, then it tells us he probably is out the door.

Or is he off doing a mini preseason because it's hard for him to keep conditioned at his size and given he picked up an injury in the trials
