POST GAME [Round 6, 2026] - Broncos vs Cowboys

Unpopular opinion but Mikaele is one of the best impact middles in the game right now. His form over the past month has been unreal.

We were only able to use 2 forwards due to HIA luck and it showed up in the final 15.

Regardless of the result, contributed to by a disgusting disruptor call, the boys could have and should have still iced that one. The most dissapointing try for mine was Purdues. We looked to have gained control with being a man down and a 90m kick return try is unnacceptable.

Takeaway on our D is that we look more comfortable on our own line and turned Cows away multiple times.

31-30 after Duffy's FG... next set Drinky at first reciever on last tackle, why did our marker not sprint out? Even if we thought he wasn't going for a FG attempt, last tackle kick pressure is a non negotiable.

Shows just how much cumulative fatigue we had. If there was another 5 min Cows probably score again.

Onto Tigers. Looks like we are going to get a Paix HIA downgrade... never thought I would be so relieved that he'd play 🤣

Mikaele was fantastic. Hopefully Semu or Te Kura can turn into that for us but I’m not holding my breath.

Their middle last night destroyed ours and you would expect a forward pack that strong to do so on the back of never officiating. I suspect if the refereeing went the other way we would have done what they did. We just had to do so much defending because of inconsistent officiating we did so well to do as well as we did.

Yeah I am still fuming, probably only a Roosters & Melbourne double loss tonight can cure me.

But like many others have pointed out, we were totally crippled with our outs, copped a BS binning whilst Kleinkampf was calling six agains, and they could only just get over the line. But as Cowboys fans tell me, they were missing Nanai, MaHoNeY, BuRnS, and McInTyRe!!!!!!

The way they ruled that incident now sets a precedent that any player attempting to compete for the ball, and not successfully get hands on it - can now potentially be called a disruptor. They have opened pandoras box.

don't worry ... As usual, this will be a once off ruling against us. they'll pretend it never happened and go back to the previous interpretation of the rule

I hope the media blow up some of the bullshit but it won’t happen. All I’ve seen is cowboys overcome tough calls.
Lol... yeah that aint happening.

They're likely just blowing up about forward passes and Patty should be fronting up to the judiciary.

They need clicks and broncos ragebait is the best way for them to get it... they're absolutely cheering that we lost last night

Yep...that was bullshit. He stopped competing apparently in mid air in a split second. Horseshit!!

That said......even though we were a man down during Pat's time in the bin, there were some awful 1 on 1 defensive misses. At the end of the night....that's what killed us.

Yeah, it wouldn't benefit the media to say anything about that call. We already have all the neutrals that hate us because of prior hurt, and then anyone that cannot think for themselves hears the likes of Ginane and Brandy cheergirling the opposition and bemoaning anything against that team, that despite blow-outs most weeks on infringement counts (against) the general consensus is the refs help us every week. So they would not benefit from calling out a horrendous bunker decision that ended up being the difference.

Can we get Ivan on the phone? Just need to show first contact was with the chest, which it clearly was.
