Well the Drinkwater one isn't a disruptor, because it's illegal contact lol... it's still a penalty, but under a different name... it's just either the moron in the bunker said 'disruptor' or bigger moron Brandy just started calling it 'disruptor' but doesn't even know what one is.The thing is though, the NRL have doubled down, and said only the Drinky and Toia ones were wrong, and Shiba was a right call as he had no intention of making a catch?
Now are they just covering their ass because that was a result definer in terms of points?
Or are we looking at something completely different?
Toia they're likely just saying to appease Robbo and optics ... NRL is all just damage control and optics.
Sydney don't think that one is a disruptor... "ok cool whatever you say guys... you guys are great we'll get it right next time"... and then proceed to keep getting them wrong and agreeing with media every time they **** up ("sorry guys we did it again") or just order their refs to stop calling disruptor penalties under the guise that "hey look all the teams are perfect now", but knowing the media will stop interrogating disruptor penalties if the game doesn't stop to show them.
This is what happened to disruptor penalties when it disappeared the first time... it's only back this time around because the rules committee decided to throw a black and white criteria at it.
