The Storm Hate Thread [Official]

Bellamy has this aura about him because it just feels like Melbourne were the team to beat every single year. I know Penrith in the last few years have been that team but before that, you had to go through Melbourne to win the comp and from rounds 1-26, they were the benchmark, every single year.

It's what makes this phase right now so unbelievable. These guys competed in last year's grand final, they are missing a few players from that side but the nucleus is still very much there.

This is real. They even lost Bai jnr to the Gold Coast. Is time for them to fight for the spoon, the game needs this.

I imagine the hate we collectively share over the double booked, wrestlemainia, chicken winged, milking mob of purple saliva dripping cheating brigade would be pretty much akin to how the rest of the Sydney comp viewed us when we were so dominant in the 90s and early 2000s.

The big difference is we played such an entertaining game of footy which was essentially within the old rules that I bet many of those haters would love to see a return to our halcyon days and an end to the faux tag-sixathon that we're witnessing now.

Oh for the days of the Tigers/Raiders GF and of course the Broncos/Dragons spectacular finale. Games where the players decided the outcome of the game even when the refs were biased.
 
Honestly I think the loss of Bronson Garlick was massively understated. Bunnies and Storm have just flipped places on the ladder.

We can still hate the Storm, but still wish good health and all the best to Bellamy.

I for one will still enjoy watching the Storm miss finals, watching teams put 50 on them, and at the same time hoping for Bellamy a speedy recovery and the best quality of life.

TL:DR Hate the storm, keep it tasteful.
 
Theres a lot of neurodegenerative diseases. All of them terrible in their own way. Hopefully this is one of the ones that are identified early, but impact later life only.

Honestly, this is not in a smart ass/hate the storm way, go and spend some time with your family craig. No matter how long it takes to feel the full force of it, when he does, life will not be the same. Lots of money and success, your family are what matters.
