POST GAME [Round 11, 2026] - Broncos vs Warriors

We made 11 errors and Walsh 6 of them. Whist I agree we got a reaming, when you have 1 player consistently ****ing up like that and giving possession to the opposition then it's very difficult to lay it all at the refs feet.
At what point do we have to ask when this guy will settle down a bit. He's a better player when he does but he's killing us ATM.

Just randomly remembered that Egan stayed on the field after a head injury which had the play stopped and he was seeing stars, but Walsh had to go off for a HIA for a tackle that wasn't deemed to have touched his head. Lol

And this is exactly the problem - the lack of consistency. Within games, between games. With penalties where there might be 10 across the game, ok, it's rare for one to be game-breaking.

But with 6-agains there is 20 across a game and they are NOT at all even and NOT at all consistent, and they can - and do - literally determine the game's outcome.

They are changing the very fabric of the game. Every week our blokes rock up and have to play quite literally a different game to the opposition. It's not even, it's not fair, and I've had a ****ing gutful.

The pattern seems to be, team that should lose, gives away 3-4 six agains in the first ten minutes to really put some fatigue into them.

If they aren't leaking points, keep going until the other team scores.

In the second half when they're gassed AF from defending so hard at the start of the game, throw a couple of first or second tackle six agains in to pad the stats to make it kinda look fair, then put the whistle away for the rest of the half - let all this blatant shit go that you were blowing the shit out of the pea for in the first half.

the first question in the presser was: "was it poor discipline or did you think you were over penalised"

Madge was doing his best to not specifically say that Klein was shithouse ... but he certainly implied it plenty

They basically said that it was BS Walsh had to go off for a HIA without them getting the penalty

Reyno implying that he tried to get clarity from Klein but didn't receive it

Madge and Reyno did take some responsibility but they were clearly pissed with the officiating.

Also Reno’s first two kicks really put us under the pump. We were playing scared from the start.

Take players the calibre of Payne Haas, Brendan Piakura and Corey Jensen out of any sides pack and they're going to struggle.

In a salary cap world you're depth is likely to be rookies or journeymen (at best) players. having one or maybe even two of the players filling in for the starters and you may be ok ... but any more than than and it will have a cascading effect through the pack, because it will also significantly weaken your bench
Tell That to the Warriors stockpiling mountains of forward talent - with their props they have Fish, Jackson Ford, Barnett, Vaimauga, Tanner Stowers-Smith and Marata Niukore. Half those guys have to play reserves each week. Then stocking up on powerful rookies like Rodney Tuipulotu-Vea, Jason Salalio, Cooper Page-Wilson. That is a team that has built a roster knowing it wants to beat the shit out of all the other teams That's exactly what they did to us today and why they won easy. So why not follow suit?

Then look at all their backrowers they have stockpiled. We should steal the 'next SBW' Bishop Neal or Kaylis Fatialofa off them. Even fringe guys like Christian Sikuvea and Kahu Capper. When will they even break into their backrow when they are fighting Leka Halasima, Clarke, Laban, Gannon, Ieremia-Toeava? How hard for us to throw some decent money them and entice them to Brisbane? I feel we should be way more aggressive in targeting some decent forwards.

Stop blaming the refs. We didn’t do good enough to win.

I get your point but it's difficult to do good when you are brutally sodomised on national television by a 4 foot ribbed rubber dildo called the Klein 3000......
Name a team that loves him to ref their games. He has always been a stupid ****wit.

I maintain/retain my point. He is not corrupt, just utterly incompetent. He has proven it time and time again.
I think it's a little from Column A and a little from Column B. Actually make that a lot from both columns.

Every club’s fan base hates him. He is just an all round dick.

And I think this is where the Warriors system is better than our set up underneath the first grade, all those guys have been in the system for years and play in the NSW cup as the warriors, when they come in they know the system inside and out.

I live in NZ so I dont know enough about the quality of the QLD cup but it feels far less than the NSW cup and the step up is too much, and some guys stand out in that comp but in reality are just pretty poor.
