Yea last years was much better - still hoping it provides the same affect though.
If you wanted to shake things up, Francis off the bench could give some guys a rocket.
Two Cup games in and normally I am more conservative, but I think he's a chance.
90 minutes, no missed tackles and his impact is there for the Bears, he's created chances with is skipping runs that make it hard to slow him down and his play the balls have let the Bears attack.
He's stepped up to every level. He's had two different experiences, one point win against Mackay and Burt put him back on at the end to contribute when they were behind with five minutes to go on debut and Souths on the weekend, Bears weren't in control and Souths were finishing all over them.
To come in and have a positive impact on the premiers at 18 is massive.
I did this last year to show Bukowski's impact on Wynnum when he was off the field and on the field.

Don't tempt me with a good time. It is probably nuts to even think he is a chance but it would be nice to see some young forwards with leg speed start showing up ready to play.,
Semu has looked good in First grade as well but he has taken a long time to develop. You'd think Semu getting 2 stints on the field would help our go forward.

Carrigan is pretty poor at wrestling tbh .
Cam Smith was a waaaay better tackler than Carrigan.
Carrigan struggles to put players on the ground. When he does he ends up on the ground behind the PTB . Then tries to jump back in and slow the PTB .... and 6 again .

Yeah we need to change it up. Reynolds has just done what Reynolds does. Great first week back after injury. Good second week and progressively worse from there.

Seems like no charges for Piakura or Reyno.
A shame really, I think Reyno needs to be dropped. If he can't find a way to work with Walsh to help bring the best out of him, then it's just going to continue being a problem.
Mam and Shiba need to be dropped, as well.

I don't see a world where Madge drop rennyo just won't happen, and to be honest I think its copy paste that thought with Mam and Paix, and these are the things biting him right now, too stubborn to those guys.

I think Mam wasn't as bad as people are saying. Oh no, I am NOT saying he was great, I'm saying the issues are more with our 7 and 9. Mam is not an organiser, he needs his 7 to play straighter so he can hit a retreating/broken line.
I like what Paix has done for us but the fact he just refuses to run means he is a non-entity. I actually wouldn't mind seeing him at 13 in Patty's absence.
I think Maguire needs to think about who are the key position players and build around them and that includes not moving Xman out of the middle. Not including Mariner either but he would be the other locked in centre if fit and of course Jiki.
They are:

So build around that. Its time to move Gibs to second row in Jiki's absence. I want Poates to come in on the wing. I wouldn't be against Verhoeven as the other centre - build for the future.
