Yep and Answerth and Brain are defensive minded defenders. But the stand out in has been Tunstill and I did not expect that. His two way running has been phenomenal.

I feel like Joyce could be another Lester and blooming late.
 
As great as Dunkley is, the only blight on his resume is his goal kicking. Shocking set shots at goal.

You're kidding right? We were way worse in 2024 and won it. We have a LOT of players to come back. We are up to this in our eyeballs.

Remember, Freo are inexperienced in finals and will be found out and both Geelong and Sydney have GF capitulations hanging over them. Hawthorn is flaky. Gold Coast is flaky.

The team I'm most worried about is the Bulldogs...and they were in out injury situation just a few weeks ago.

What was scarier for the rest of the AFL tonight - watching the Lions manhandle the second placed Swans or watching their zero ****s given ‘are we even excited about that?’ rendition of their victory song ?? 😅🦁
 
Every other team just dropped their heads. This team is still hungry and their best is still the best.

Lester is back as well and both of them are super important cogs in our system.

But the biggest change has been our midfield deciding they are ok with trying to tackle again.
 
If we beat Geelong next week, the competition will be on notice. But we could still be timing our run.

The comp already is. I'm not sure we want to show everything we've got yet and we still have Zorks or Cluggs but I reckon Geelong will be sweating right now. They are flaky and if we are switched on, look out.

I was thinking whether we actually need to win this game. It’s a long cold trek out to Geelong and we don’t really have anything to prove against them at this stage. If we fall behind on the score board, there’s no sense in going for broke trying to get a comeback win.

No its not vital, Our draw really opens up after this. But lose and making the top 4 becomes a bit harder. Doesn't really matter for top 6.
