I really wish we were keeping Anderson. we can't be Mr. Nice Guys all the time and do the moral thing.
I get that the Warriors have helped us a couple of times, by releasing Walsh (which lets face it got us a premiership) and then Barnett to us ...

I’m okay with us releasing Anderson so we can retain that relationship, even though he’s been great. Let’s play nice and see if we can get Bishop Neal for a few years

The **** is this? They’ve helped us? We let Walsh go to them early, we have loaned them players when they needed them, we let them live in our city to keep the game going (which by the way should have kept going without them if they weren’t willing to stay here). They’ve owed us for a long time and I’m time of them being victims.

I'm pretty sure the club doesn't get to decide who can stay in Brisbane
and on Walsh, we were losing him anyway. so our option was to develop him for the Warriors or let him leave and have them develop him for, while keeping the goodwill that allowed him to gain a release to come back to us

Our squad is in trouble next year if we get even less injuries than this one. Right now we need two decent middles, 2 second rowers and at least two solid backs. It’s scary how shallow we look next year because we have been exposed this year. Next year the firsts won’t be as good either because we lose our forward pack to Souths.
