Still really ass statsHe averages 120 plus his last 4 games. Stats aren't all they're cracked up to be.
Played centre 1 game and 46 mins 1 game.

Macca was a dud……for 9/10ths of his career. This was basically confirmed in 2007 that Berro didn't have a lot going on at 9 unless he could run it. His service was poor and barely gave his playmakers any time.
To me, he was a great player who happened to play hooker as opposed to a great hooker.
The key with Macca in '15 is that he had Kodi there at 14 to come on and provide the team with some spark. It allowed him to be more effective when he was on the field albeit he didn't step up as much as he should have.
Souths were brave last year8 premiership winners in Mariner, Staggs, Walsh, Shibasaki, Haas, Carrigan, Jensen, Walters were unavailable tonight.
Mam and Reynolds then go down mid game. Jordan Riki is also playing injured and was probably rushed back from his foot injury too early.
That's 11 premiership winners from last year's 17, gone.
Given the above, we've had no opportunity to create consistency or connection and it shows; we're just so bad.
He was basically John Morris.Macca was a dud……for 9/10ths of his career.
Unless they're a plucky little underdog protagonist... then its all life's so hardRugby league pundits hate injured teams. What’s to talk about? ‘Why is Mariner injured?’ They have to craft a different story to the obvious.
Yeah as we all know unfortunately it’s such a rapid disease that sucks the life out of you when you least expect it. MND is absolute torture, wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I hope he is able to create special memories with his family while he’s still able to walk and move because we know how much worse it’s going to get. I listened to their interview a few weeks and his partner talked about trying to having a sibling for their daughter and it broke my heart. Time is really so precious, you just never know when it’ll all changeGet ready for bitter disappointment my friend. Jai is in for nothing short of a ****ing nightmare as tragic as that is. MND is a top 10 "**** that" ways to go.
Then you have the media gas lighting you. "Your injuries aren't that bad" literally haven't had full strength side since round 5.Remember 2024? We couldn’t finish a half without losing someone. Reynolds and Mam played a third of a season as our starting halves. The story? ‘The Broncos lost the grand final, that’s why they’re having a bad season’

Sometimes it’s plain ignorance (there are people, including former players, who genuinely don’t seem to realise when a team is playing fourth-string development players), but compare how Souths were treated last year to how we are now.Unless they're a plucky little underdog protagonist... then its all life's so hard
But if you're antagonist then it's all.. "everyone has injuries, but what has happened to our premiers Michael Ennis"
Nah they know... they choose to not say it because it doesn't suit the narrativeSometimes it’s plain ignorance (there are people, including former players, who genuinely don’t seem to realise when a team is playing fourth-string development players), but compare how Souths were treated last year to how we are now.
Sounds very similar to 2024...
