That is actually a click bait headline.

They've only taken part of the quote from Donaghy to make it look like we have cap issues.

Dave Donaghy actually said:

Let the media carry on about us having no cap space, It's better for business when players and other clubs think you're poor anyway, it's amazing how expectations during negotiations increase when they think you have plenty of money to spend.

I could see him giving it a crack and trying to get a spot for 2027/28.

Until I see him back at Red Hill, I think he's as good as gone.

I still think Rogers ends up at the Bears. It would make perfect sense for both parties.

Broncos should be going after him... but would he actually leave North Qld?

I think he's from that area and Cows middles aren't that great... JT nearing retirement, Hess getting older, Neame hasn't kicked on

Lodge sticking around a year, Mikaele has come of age, Neame may have earned a reprieve, they signed Seve from Roosters/Bulldogs and he's killing it. They also have another promising prop coming through in Watts.

The Stampede rumour guy is quietly confident Lahrs is sticking around. However we've yet to hear anything and they may want a surer thing.

He's a big dude, has NRL experience and is available. I'm definitely not married to the idea though.
