After nearly botching it. Had the overlap and decided to take on the defence, did well to get the pass away.

Otherwise it's what you've come to expect from Hoeter. Very physical and doesn't shy away from a contest. He came up with a big play to dive on the loose ball off a goal line drop out denying the Cutters a rare opportunity in the second half.

I thought Francis and Coates ran well. Only blemish with Francis' game was that offload he pegged at Mozer. He fought so hard to get that arm free that he couldn't help himself.

I think Hoeter will be excellent for Coates, I noticed Hoeter sent him in to take a hit up in the first half.

They both ran strongly yesterday two tries, 27 hit ups, 337m combined- that's a weapon of a combination out there and the intangible advice and focus Hoeter will provide which Coates still needs.

Francis enthusiasm was much better, as soon as he got on and he was jumping around and didn't give away a penalty, sometimes he's good for a penalty within a minute of getting on.
