Don't really care. At the moment the Broncos don't look or play like the Broncos, the old boys hate the club which is a massive problem that DD needs to solve.

The biggest concern is our recruitment..We don't really have that much talent coming through, nExt year we lose Haas and gain Gagai.. Our million dollar 5/8 cant crack the starting side. We are staring down the barrell of a rookie halves combination again and unless Hunt can find his pre broncos form, I think we are in for a very tough year!

Can anybody see how it improves for us next year? I cant.

It's easy to get that impression when one very bitter outspoken critic of the club gets a lot of airtime. You could throw Parker in there as a jilted ex who the club moved on from the coaching staff. Bennett is Bennett. But even Kev, who arguably had one of the worst experiences when being moved on (disregarding the proportion of blame, it was just a shit situation), still bleeds for the club.

I don't follow the media like I used to but Parker seems pretty supportive of Madge?

I only catch the odd clip but he was proud of the Broncos efforts against Melbourne when Mam and Reynolds went down and thought they were onto something.

Then he couldn't wait to get out onto the field and congratulate the players after the GF.

Even lately he's been pretty defensive of their losing streak and was one of the few guys to call out injuries/Origin.

At least that's the impression I get from my timeline.

Yeah Parker is back on the broncos train... probably looking for a job, but he also heads up SEN Qld's morning show.

If he was always negative about broncos and carried on like CONEHEAD, then he wouldve been replaced by now.

Same way that if he was some sort of Qld correspondent for SEN NSW then he would more than likely be running the negative agendas... but that job has already been filled by Denan the Cuck.

It's just self preservation when it comes to ex players in the media.

They have no real opinion they just want to stay on that NRL gravy train... especially now there's a big fat TV deal behind it to keep legitimising the whole thing.

Just keep parroting the narrative and getting those cheques.

I haven't been following it too much recently either and @BroncsFan is probably closer to the mark. I'm basing my comments on the Parker of a few years ago, after being moved on from us, speaking out against us to try to land a job with a rival, proudly declaring his kid had signed with the Phins etc.

I too saw him at the end of the GF and how pumped he was, which is all well and good, but if he really loved the club that much he wouldn't look to knife it at any opportunity in order to advance his career. Hopefully that has changed now.

I dunno. Kevvie has his attack dog in CONEHEAD just like Bennett has his Crawley. They don’t need to say anything, someone else does it for them.

I know I’m biased on the subject but if there is a leak at the club still that goes to CONEHEAD it’s coming from Kevvie via Billy. They said about a month ago he was in stages of working out a contract but haven’t heard a thing since. He’s back playing but not in first grade, after having a really good 2025…….only a guess on my part btw. But there is some merit to my…..accusation(?). It would make sense.
