The lack of effort from Darius to get to the ball from that Norman kick with a couple to go shows us all he has checked out.
You wouldn’t see any other FB in the game get to a ball that slowly.
That is our most experienced player.
Big game from Carrigan, Dearden, Herbie and Staggs. All the young blokes showing up all the older fellas, yet again.
Looked better when Milford went off. Not surprising.
I’ll probably get shot for this but Boyd isn’t to really blame for that crap start...a little annoying at the end there but I think he put his body on the line tonight more so than other nights

Captain Carrigan - 80 minutes, 25 runs, 258 metres, 2 offloads, 46 tackles (1 missed), 0 errors.

What more can the man do?

He was by far our best player. He has been doing it all year though tbf. Said it in the commentary, he's the most important young player at the club. Class on and off the field unlike some of them.

So Offa has talent? Tell me more?
You said there was no talent in the team. Also, Offa played for QLD (ok, contentiously), so he has talent. It is just buried under whatever poor form and confused direction that he and many of the others are suffering from.

DB played really well again despite a broken nose from very early on. Great heart champion.

This rings a bell as something I might have seen tonight, it's just that his deplorable effort at the death is all I can really remember right now.

I don't really watch other games, so I have no idea, but are Cameron McInnes and this Dufty guy really that amazing? I've never heard of them and Michael Ennis was going on like they're gods.

Hehe Staggs sounds like a horse race caller when he speaks.

Cant believe there are people in here shitting on our performance tonight.
It was leagues better than every other game we have played since the Covid break.

Obviously there is still loads of areas for improvement, but the boys turned up and played like they gave a shit tonight, and i for one, loved it.

This.

We are where we are because we are being coached by an imposter.
I think, to be honest, there is a belief or consensus between some in the team that the coach is an imposter and when he isn't there the direction is different and they are listening to their coaching. It's semantics, but it is different

He should be our starting prop. Always makes metres. Never stops. He's a star

Some of you guys are pretty easily pleased. Dragons basically beat us with 15 players tonight until Sims came and went. Improvement is good I suppose.

Accidental crusher challenge last week from Haas: 3 weeks

Accidental crusher tackles this week from other teams:
Commentary team saying that some crushers are just unavoidable and completely accidental.

Hypocrisy at its finest 😂

Ennis and Brandy both bitched about that Carrigan challenge as well. Carrigan didn't even play at the ball so for once the bunker made the right call
It's not like he can vanish his arm

I like how dearden took control when milf was out. If he can do that when milf is back and milf just focusses on eyes up footy, we will be looking better. I liked how dearden was taking it to the line at a bit more speed, towards the end, he just need fifita running some lines towards the gaps at speed.

My criticism of fifita is that fifita just tries to run over people. That works sometimes, but when he learns to run lines and receive a short ball he will be much better.

Carrigan, he was just immense tonight.
