Its been confirmed on the NRL website that he has been resigned. Yay!

Staggs re-signs until end of 2025 but Coates, Lodge future clouded

Strike centre Kotoni Staggs has committed to the Brisbane Broncos on a four-year contract to the end of the 2025 season.

That's the scary part about being all in on Staggs, it's success is basically wholly contingent on us getting a result with one of Reynolds, Moses or SJ.

I guess we're still alive on all three technically, but bloody hell that's a nervous wait we're all in for now. I can't handle another 4 years of blaming the poor sod at Halfback for our 5/8 just never wanting to do his job.

Fox Sports reporting that Connor Tracey has extended his deal at the Sharkies..... would that mean SJ is likely to be coming here? Or have the Sharks missed out on Reynolds? Maybe they're just impressed with Tracey on the wing?

I'd say we are definitely getting Reynolds or SJ but which one remains to be seen.

With Staggs re-signing to play 6, now going hard for a 7 and Drinkwater re-signing with the Cowgirls, I have the feeling a Milf to fullback experiment may just return next year.

I take your point, but at this stage in his career, I suspect it's more about 'What suburb do I want to live in? What school do I want my kids to go to?"

I'd take either as well. We desperately, desperately need either. I'm nervous we'll miss out on both, but if I was rating our chances I'd figure the Kiwi bloke with no strong ties to Sydney was probably a more likely prospect.
