The big difference is that when Milford got that $1 million a year contract, he was light years away of what Tesi will ever be, because you don't acquire or learn the skills he lacks. That's why no one is knocking at the door for him, much less on a million.
The discussion about Milford has...
Mate, take it easy. Your stance on Milford is no different from big del defending Tesi, with full blinders on. Reflect on that...
You just said it yourself, "Milford past 2016" probably means it was different before that.
The team and Milford were ruined by the Broncos coaches and a toxic...
Any 20 year old, especially if gifted with talent like Tesi, will improve.
The discussion here, is whether he will ever improve enough to be a starting NRL fullback, and he's very far from it in areas that can't really be coached. He just doesn't show the necessary footy IQ and fortitude to...
I don't hate on him, and he certainly has potential.
At this stage of the comp, I have much more faith in TMM, even if he is leaving, and also because it's highly unlikely Tesi will be our fullback in the coming seasons either, unless Walsh really stinks or suffers a long term injury.
He also didn't do enough to take it from a fit TMM, then or now, only to fill the gap.
I have zero doubt we are a much more serious threat in the finals with TMM than with Tesi...
Perhaps Kevvie is playing it safe with TMM to ensure he comes back fully game fit. At least that's my hope.
I really don't get it. Since Te Maire got the custodian spot, our defence has improved out of sight, and he's slowly getting more influence in our attack with ball playing skills none of the "more exciting" youngsters have shown.
He's only just returned from a long recovery path, and is still...
Precisely. He may well have been influenced by the fuckwits advising him, and it's not like he has grown up around great role models, so I'll give him a discount instead of acting like a bipolar pre-pubescent girl with her school crush...
However, he needs to learn from this and read the tea...
This thread is by far the most exciting thing happening at BHQ in at least 5 years for me... Hynes and Reynolds would make all the difference IMO. Finally a capable organising half with an excellent kicking game and Hynes would fill the other glaring deficiency in our spine for pretty close to a...
Body camera footage getting lost...?
I'm not an expert on QPC matters, but I do know there are multiple systems in place to ensure that doesn't happen, because they have to be protected from tampering like any other evidence for judicial purposes.
I mean, I'm sure it's not impossible, but you...
I lived there for 5 of the 15 years., the rest was in normal neighbourhoods in the northern GC, some higher (Runaway Bay, Coomera Waters), some lower (Upper Coomera, Pimpama), some middle demographics (Coombabah, Parkwood).
You mean like going out to clubs in the Valley, the Cross, or even...
Lived on the GC for 15 years, never had any issues I didn't have anywhere else, including my house robbed... 🙄
Unfortunately, touristic destinations with a lot of nightlife opportunities, all suffer from the same ailments, because they're a magnet for idiots who have no idea how to have a good...
I am now on that boat as well.
I admit I thought our retrocess was more due to Bennett than anything else, especially after our stellar 2015, which I still believe had Walters fingerprints.
I still believe he had a large contribution due to his choices, especially with our spine, but on the...
As much as that may be true, this is still a case of "guilty until proven innocent".
I'd rather see a guilty person get away with shit than an innocent one being punished for something they didn't do. That is in fact one of the fundamental corner stones of our justice system.
If the...
