Benny took us to finals footy too, and in hindsight that was despite the board and administration. Same applies now, I trust Kevvie but not the powerbrokers in the back office.
I'm certainly of the opinion that under Bennett we'd stopped going forward, but without him it seems he was one of the few things stopping us going dramatically backwards.
I still think this is crap. He was introducing a lot of the new young players. We had to go backwards before we could go forward when bringing those players in because those players were learning. Certain older players were going backwards but they were on their way out, probably earlier with Bennett at the helm. He’s taken a far worse Rabbitohs team to the exact place Seibold did, almost making them look better in certain areas and adding to certain players games.
