Has anyone else been wondering why nobody has tried to get Jack Wilshere on loan from Arsenal? I can imagine the most use he will be put to with Arsenal this season is the league cup. That kid really looks the goods.

Also, i see Barca have signed Chygrynskiy.

Meant to be a top shelf defender from what i've heard.

Bloody expensive though, 25m euros.

Sunderland have signed Michael Turner for an undisclosed fee.

Decent singing for Sunderland, Steve Bruce is building up a nice squad there.

Am I the only person who doesn't think the tackle looks THAT bad? Bad outcome obviously though but I don't think there was malicious intent there.

I'm not too keen on Michael Turner ning, I dunno what the fuss is about. We better not have paid 12 bloody million for him that's for sure.

I think the tackle is an absolute shocker, it was stamp without any intention of going for the ball.

There probably wasn't malicious intent so to speak, but he lunged in with studs showing. Extremely reckless.

As for Turner, 12m is definitely way too much if you have paid that. He did a good job for Hull last season and should manage to score a few with his head. I'd say 6-7m is a fair price for him.

He looked good in the Group Stage against us last year and through the UEFA Cup as well, but 25million is a mighty price to live up to.

DUDE! Ibra was pretty good this morning, he held the ball up really well and had Bojan running well off him plus he did some classy things further away from goal which gives me hope for him contributing not just goals. I can imagine once they have spent time together Messi scoring a lot of goals running off Ibra's shoulder.

Not sure re Kranjcar, even if he is another Croatian (have a whole country supporting us we will) as realistically he will just be injury cover for Modric, who the latest says he is put for only 6 weeks. Thr money being touted around though of 2.5 million seems a pretty cheap deal but.

Love the mad rush, will be interesting to see what transpires while we are asleep.

I think Kranjcar is a very handy player and at 2.5m he would be an absolute bargain IMO.

Don't know much about him, but he's played regularly for the dutch national team, so he must be decent.
