3 wins less. So, that puts you below us, right? It might just be me, but I think bagging out a team after they lose when your own team has won less games seems a bit pointless. I can understand how a win is so exciting for you though, being such a rare occurrence and all.
Anyway, clearly I have to continue to repeat myself. I said I think it's premature, not that he's no good. He had a good game against Pittsburgh and he was pretty solid last week, I won't deny that, but pull your head out of the sand. Three games is no where near enough time to determine how good he is at QB. I get it, you're excited about having someone who can throw the ball. Having someone like Russell under center for so long makes anyone appear fantastic. Clearly it's clouding your judgment. It's kind of like Matt Cassel last year for us, but in reverse. Tom Brady gets injured and is gone for the season, and this young guy comes in making his first start since high school and is supposed to fill his shoes. Everyone was on his case because he was 'no Tom Brady', but it turned out that his first season as a starter would end up better than Brady's. Sure, Cassel started out poorly, but he needed to find his feet. In your case, you have a QB who is expected to perform well, but isn't, so you turned to a well traveled QB who hasn't really been given the chance to show what he can do either. At this stage there is nothing to say that Gradkowski will, or will not do well. As I said previously, I hope he does prove to be the QB that you so desperately need - but it's far too early to tell.
FTR - I don't give a shit whether Oakland is a losing team. It's their own fault for making stupid choices in the draft. If Gradkowski played for the Colts I would be saying exactly the same thing.
Is a 'bandwagon supporter' the term you use for those who support a team that is better than yours? If not, then I have NFI what you are talking about. A bandwagon supporter implies that I have changed the team I support at some stage. I have supported the Patriots for as long as I have been following American Football (which is before they started winning Super Bowls BTW), and I will never stop supporting them. For you to suggest I am anything but a true fan just proves how clueless you really are. I have no idea why you would even say such a thing given you don't know anything about me, nor my history of supporting the Patriots.
