With the start of the Baseball season yesterday I thought I'd start a thread for the season and kick it off with my predictions on the winners:

AL East - NY Yankees
AL Central - Minnesota
AL West - Seattle
AL Wild Card - Boston

NL East - Philadelphia
NL Central - St Louis
NL West - LA Dodgers
NL Wild Card - Chicago Cubs

I think the Yankees will go back to back this year - their roster is just too strong.

And it was no surprise to see the Indians shut out in their first game of the season...

The Indians won two of three in the opening series and moved over .500 for the first time since they were 81-80 on the next-to-last day of 2008.

How much longer is Ortiz under contract for? I'm gathering he's basically untradeable with the size of his deal so you might just have to play the waiting game to upgrade the DH

The No. 1 most-disliked team in baseball, according to the formula, is the Cleveland Indians.
