I am warming to the idea of having Johnson/Lee/Tait all there because India will produce roads and a lot of 300+ scores will come so we potential have an attack that can take quick strings of wickets.

It will be a very interesting call to see which quicks they pick. It will be Lee and Tait opening with either Johnson or Bollinger being the 3rd quick IMO. I am hoping for a Tait injury so he doesn't get a game tbh

I reckon Sri Lanka are a show.

I think Sri Lanka or India will beat Australia in the final. Unless Australia meets either of those in the Semi or QF, in which case Australia won't get there.

I'm predicting semis of India vs Sri Lanka, and Australia vs South Africa...Australia and Sri Lanka to win them, Sri Lanka to win the final, repeating their effort of 1996.

I doubt India will handle the pressure. Sri Lanka are a good chance love the way they play the game. Aussies a chance but you just don't know what they will deliver anymore. Smokies are the Windies and the Pakis but I reckon the Pakis will have a drama over there.

I doubt Pakis will recover from the recent betting scandal, mentally.
Windies are too flaky.

Only one outside of Australia, Saffas, Injuns and Tea Lankans who are a chance are England, but they'd need to get a whole lot of injuries sorted and find form in the short game.

Absolute smokies if they can be consistent is NZ...but they're more likely to be consistently crap.

Miracles can happen most of the test playing nations have the raw talent but are let down mentally.

Australia could be in a bit of strife against the Zimbots here, run rate's just a tick over four and a quarter and there's only about 10 overs to go..

Haddin's strike rate was 43.93.

Pretty dire for one-day cricket.

CricInfo sums up my feelings on the run chase..

I'm probably needlessly worried here. The nature of Australia's attack means that although Tait, Johnson and Krejza may take wickets and Zimbabwe will collapse, if all three of them are even slightly off colour my mother could chase 263...

Aussies got away with that one..... I don't understand why they don't show aggression towards the spinning whilst they are batting???

At least Australia's best batsman back in form.. Go Clarkie!

Netherlands are 2/120, going at just under 5 an over against the Poms.

Poms have lost the plot now. Ryan ten Doesomething just smacked an awesome hundred and is still going. Anderson bowling head hunters as well.
