2013 Predictions

I have a feeling the Roosters might just sneak into the finals. They have a talented young roster that will have more attacking potential with James Maloney pairing up with Pearce and the players will be happier with a new coach after falling out between Brian Smith.

Here's a prediction, money bill doesn't actually return to the NRL

Premiers - Bulldogs. Their roster remains intact and the addition of T-Rex will be a massive boost. What a forward pack!

Biggest Improver - Broncos, closely followed by the Knights. Broncos I believe will come out of the blocks slow but will learn from last year that 10 weeks of form does not make you a premiership contender.

Fall From Grace - Sydney Roosters. SBW is trouble.. New coach, clash of egos blah blah. You don't rebuild a broken club by inserting a "special guest", 1 year contract, type player.

Dally M Player - Carney. Behind a new and improved forward pack, Cronulla are going to be unreal and not rely on Gallen to do everything. Luke Lewis for a big year.
Origin Series - Qld - W(Suncorp) L(ANZ) W(Suncorp) - NSW to rue $$$ grabbing venue change.
Wooden Spooners - Titans.
Top Try Scorer Barba
Rookie of the Year - Joshua Jackson
Final top 8 -

Storm
Bulldogs
Cronulla
Broncos
Knights
Manly
Cowboys
Souths

Don't think the Mighty Duck is eligible as he played a fair bit at the end of the year.

I also dispute the eligibility of the Roosters falling from grace. It's hard to fall when you are already on the bottom.

Lol just realised Pacey was playing for the Bulldogs.

Isn't Thurston a 5/8th these days? He won the Dally M for 5/8th of the year.

Not trying to be pedandtic (and assumed it was Thurston) but was just wondering if AP rated someone else currently playing halfback in the comp as better than Cronk.

yeh that was my bad, forgot that Thurston is a five eighth now lol. the 2 positions are so interchangeable these days that i basically just mean 'second best half'.

Premiers - Storm, first team to go back to back since us.
Runners-up - Cowboys, due for another big year before their team gets ravaged by the salary cap.
Biggest Improver - Knights, top 8 surely.
Fall From Grace - Broncos, hope I'm wrong.
Dally M Player - JT/Cronk, both gobble up try assists for breakfast.
Origin Series - 8 in a row, NSW don't have the halves.
Wooden Spoon - Titans/Warriors.
Top Try Scorer - Uate, Gagai playing inside him for a full year.
Top 8 in/out - Knights in, Broncos out.
