2018 NRL Side

Can't see Matt Scott being the same player he was after doing an acl. He's too old. Look at the difference in JWH pre and post acl. A shadow of the player he was and he's a few years younger than Matt Scott.

ACLs take two years to fully recover but they’ve got McLean on board plus the rest of that pack, they can afford to go softly, softly with him so he is firing at finals time.

I think it depends on the type of ACL injury.

Remember that Scott’s was a little different. His recovery was only 6 months so I actually can’t see him being hindered too much.

I don't think anyone can look past Cowboys, Storm and Roosters in that order as contenders for this season. One of them might fall off due to injuries (Chooks have little depth), so unless Niko turns into Alfie over this pre-season, I can't see us being serious candidates for the minor premiership.

Of course none of them is invincible, so we "just need to" make the Top 4, have few injuries, and fire up at the right time, to have a genuíne shot at lifting the trophy in the GF.

That's no indication. Will just have to see

Cows would have to lose both their starting halves for them not to be a threat... ****s. They're a really good side with balance. Their forward aint to be sniffed at either adding Maclean.

Scott
Glanville
Maclean
Cooper
Lowe
Taumalolololololo

With dudes like Asiata, Bolton and Hess off the bench. Best forward pack in the comp and possibly the best bench too.
I think you forget that it was a horrible dragons outfit that allowed them to scrape into the 8 in the first place.

They then got sharks wk 1 who were horribly out of form and didn't deserve to be in the finals followed by eels wk 2 who had a shocker of a game then roosters who we went close to beating week 1 despite playing horribly and again the roosters played poorly on the day.

They then got flogged in the GF by really the only contender last year.

The cows played pretty horribly during the regular season from memory.

Got any wine from those grapes?

Dude. They've got a good side. They lost Tamou and Hannant at the end of 2016. They didn't replace Tamou because they wanted to recruit McLean for 2018. Then Matt Scott did his ACL in Round 2. When you put Matt Scott and Jordan McLean into that side this year that improves them a lot. Then you have guys like Hess who have another year of first grade experience under their belts.

They are going to roll through teams with that pack. It's obvious.

Try again.

P.S. I'm sure I've made grammatical mistakes somewhere if you're so keen to ping me, but you really should choose your battles...
They is invincible? I'm just fucking with you mate, your the first person to jump on people for mistakes. It's not really a battle because I don't act like a c*nty teacher

*You're

"None of them" is not "They", it means "Not one of them". with the bold word indicating how to conjugate the verb.

I pinged you once for the bullshit "auto-correct" excuse, not for any spelling or grammatical mistake. I also contradicted several of your posts in other threads with actual facts, which I suspect, is what you're really upset about.

Respectfully yours,
Cunty teacher (no attempt to bypass the filter either, see that?)

You are clearly the one upset Mr anal. I'll take my detention now

I was specifcially talking about last year. This year they are a different squad.

Last year their forward depth was tested after basically losing 3 props from the previous squad.

I also have zero respect for Morgan's game. Time will tell but I wouldn't want to be spending $1m a season on him based on one finals series.
