I am making the assumption that we have let go of McGuire due to the fact that Carrigan was getting big offers from other clubs. We'd rather keep Carrigan.

There's also the fact that we have Ofa, TPJ, Lodge, Haas

if I'm honest though, if all three were on the paddock at once we were in serious strife. Their best was good enough for the Broncs, they're really only playing good enough now to look good in lesser rated teams.

Funny how just on Tuesday or Wednesday I was saying I don't rate McGuire, and now it seems, neither do the Broncos

He was released with 2 years on his contract. I'm glad personally as he was chewing up space. Although I do worry that we have lost a lot of experienced forwards, and Gillett is a huge question mark at best. The fact he let himself lose 10kg is pretty bad. Obviously he couldn't do weights and train etc but he should have been eating a lot. Playing a bit fat at 105kg is better than trying to play second row at like 90kg which is what he'd be around at the moment.

Oh I agree 100% mate, but these players still need replacing, even if only for depth. I think it is Wolfie who on many occasions has alluded to the fact you can't just dump these guys and not replace them with someone else on similar money. Sure Thaiday and Sims stunk it up most times, but if they are replaced by our young guns, who then replaces our young guys on the bench/fringes of first grade.

My biggest worry with the current cluster **** of the coaches situation is who will be making the recruitment decisons! Is it Bennett or Seibold. I wish the board would just grow some balls and **** Bennett off right now and get Seibold in here quick smart.

It's true though. If he was a bit overweight and not match fit he could ease in playing 40 minutes a game. But at 90kg he basically can't play to be honest. Especially with the form David and Jayden have been in.
