2019 Broncos Line-up

Nah, everyone knows Haas is going to play and be good.

I was talking more about a player that comes out of nowhere to play NRL every week at higher level of standard than expected

Moga and Ese'ese were good ones.. We were unlucky to lose them.

Neither of them are being missed.

Moga was trash. Ask @Kyall , he was his biggest fan and even he came around in the end.

He did go alright in the end but I still would rather Tagataese before him but I can’t see that happening.

Already wiped from memory by the looks.

Moga not Mago. Remember your man crush?

Patrick Carrigan re signing for another 3 years is another step in the right direction. Good move Broncos

Has anyone noticed that broncos.com.au has Kodi Nikorima listed as a hooker and amongst the forwards in the player profiles. Coincidence or 2019 spoiler?
Pretty sure it was the same this year

I think thats a bit harsh on ese ese. Although individually our young forwards performed great last year, ese ese would have given us a much more consistent middle forward option which may have helped those games that we just didnt turn up. Not saying he would have got us any wins but he would have helped sure up the middle at times. With a season under their belts by next year he will not be missed though.

I don't miss them. But they were bargain buys that exceeded expectations.. It worked nicely for us that year.

Moga wasn't trash.
Pretty certain he single handedly cost us a final against the cows. That is indeed trash.

Ahh yes I would still take him back if it keeps Kahu from centre.
There's no chance in hell moga is better than Kahu

Do I need to quote your post where you divorced him?

Moga couldn’t pass. For every good run he managed there were 3 missed opportunities outside him. Add in his 2 or 3 compulsory stupid errors every game and he was definitely a liability.

While he wasn't Matt Gillett circa 2010 as far as bolters go, Tautau Moga was certainly the Broncos biggest bolter of 2017. When he signed with the club, many saw him as a depth option and thought he'd only play a few games here and there. Instead he impressed on club debut and after some dicey moments, proved a real workhorse down that left hand edge. The club made the right decision letting him go to Newcastle, but his tenure wasn't as bad as fans make out.

The Broncos didn't play the Cowboys in the 2017 finals series. Were you thinking of the Melbourne Storm prelim where he blew an overlap out-wide? Or did he do something in the Round 2 clash against the Cowboys?

Moga would make a great modern day winger if he wasnt make of twigs.

Mustve been the former.

If we're taking big bustling backs with hands of stone, I'd rather Vidot...

Opacic had a mare against the Cowboys in 2016, but tbf he was only playing because of Roberts stupidity and he played with two stuffed shoulders and they exploited it.

Left centre has been a position the Broncos have struggled with for quite awhile. Outside of Jack Reed who filled the position OK (and even then had his detractors) nobody has been able to make a real fist of it since Renouf retired. Berrigan was good there for around a season before he hit a wall, Chief had his moments but would play anywhere for the side and Walker's defence was so poor he ended up on the wing.

Hopefully Seibold can find his man.
