That Xavier Coates injury could prove decisive in the second half. The Blues didn't have an opportunity to adjust but Staggs on Capewell is a mismatch and I can see the Blues playing sideline to sideline before looking up the middle.

Queensland doing well to hang in the middle. This team is far more suited to the current meta with Cotter and Carrigan proving immense for the Maroons. Great moment with Cobbo as well, it's been a tough initiation but those skillful plays is why he's in the team.

The Maroons look out of sorts with their shapes, hopefully the half-time break can settle them down and they can play off one another better. They're playing well working up the guts, but they're struggling to give their strike good ball. In the end, the one try was off a lucky bounce.
