That should've been the only punishment.

If NRL came out and said $30k fine for bringing game into disrepute, but can't charge for the onfield because there's a lack of evidence ... then that's the end of it.

Except NSWRL media has been going on non-stop about obvious guilt and clearly in the direction of the ref... even though they can't even get the captions right.
