GRAND FINAL

SUSPENDED

INJURED

Willison: ankle, season over.

LATEST JUDICIARY

That's a win for Fox League and I'm sure they'll be patting themselves on the back.

If the Broncos were to accept a suspension, it would have been two weeks tops, so three is an insult to injury.

It's a big test coming up for the club.
Definitely Fox will wank over this.

Problem was Walsh was summoned immediately to the judiciary, hit with a vague charge which centred around a disputed issue, but could always fall back on a vague charge. It gave a false sense of security to pleading "Not Guilty" because they thought it was about calling the ref a ****. But they could always just say he was behaving badly towards the ref in general. So, they tricked them into a longer punishment.

Was always a dog and pony show.

Plus we have just had Buzz Rothfield call the entire club liars over Ben Hunt and nothing has been done about it
That's a one off throw away line that Fox must've missed, because I don't recall them turning it into an article. Probably not enough quotes from Buzz to turn into something.

Fox will have to release an article regarding how this played out including the evidence that was presented... will Braith and co be able to hold themselves back from claiming Patty and Fifita should be punished for lying as well?

If Fox go down that path, I think some form of response will be required... including Patty and Fifita backing up that they were telling the truth.

So according to this, he will be back for the Bulldogs match.

As a result of the three-match suspension, he will miss Brisbane’s upcoming clash against the Dolphins and is also ineligible for selection for the Maroons in Game Three of the 2023 Ampol State of Origin series to be played on July 12.

Justice prevails. At least all the little boys and girls won't be calling the refs ***** on Saturday morning. Leave that to the hungover mums and dads...

Well, this was actually very funny and entertaining stuff here. I was wrong by a week on my predictions, but 2 Broncos games against bad (Phins might be ok) teams was how I was thinking because it disrupts us in the table. I really am glad that Origin counts towards this, tbh. Dead rubber and maybe an interesting match now.

Appreciate all the boys and girls for the fun and wisecracking here tonight.

You know what wouldn’t surprise me? The fact that this wasn’t the lead up to Origin week and therefore Walsh wasn’t in contention to be selected for Queensland meaning that game does not count for his suspension.

Its two Broncos games and watching a dead rubber from the sidelines. I think he needs a rest anyway to reset for our push to the finals.
Are you trying to frame this as a blessing in disguise?

They can't afford to drop either match.

Not only is this about on the field, but off the field too and it's easy to turn this into a circus.

It definitely counts... he played in the first 2 games and is 'fit' to play

Yeah these aren’t games you want to be dropping. Only positive is one of them is an origin game. This is seriously a farce. At least he has been humbled a bit and gets a decent rest.

The NRL website has him listed to return in round 22

making him suspended for the Dolphins, Bye, Origin 3, Bulldogs and Rabbitohs games

From memory, Reynolds was nowhere to be seen and it was Flegler of all people pulling Walsh away and telling him to calm down.

I expected nothing less from the NSWRL over this, but I am hoping Walsh and the rest of our team do too.

They will gleefully screw us over every single chance they get, so these blokes have to learn to play smarter and not give them the chance. Reece grits his teeth, says nothing and it’s play on.

Emotion is great, but channel it into your runs or your tackles, not your mouth.

Just to add:

If you want to boycot something, then make it Fox League. Unsubscribe from YT, don't visit the website and find "alternative sources" to watch matches. It's not that hard.

Hit them where it really hurts.

They've claimed 3 matches... or is origin not counted as a match now.

NRL.com is wrong as usual.

How can they be so shit that they cant count to 3.
