Tapanie & Savage will not play this game. They will miss the yardage so their main focus will be offloads & grubby plays.
Like R1, Riki will have to bring his A game in shutting down the Raiders grub in Hudson.

Canberra used be my 2nd team along with Warriors but boy, Ricky decided that as they can’t win fairly, they would explore grubby and foul plays. I hate them since.

Thinking back on the game the one thing that stood out for me that unlike last year when we get in the 20 m zone in attack it looks like we have a plan. Forwards running in pairs at the line to confuse defenders and when the defence sprints up trying to shut down our outside men all the backs seem to know a kick behind the line is on and are ready for it.

That try when Haas offloaded to Paix near the line looked like something that they have practised at training and it's awesome when that stuff comes off. I also can't wait to see Te Kura when he does that cannon ball run close to the try line.

I always refer back to an old game I watched live with the cheating ass Storm including the big 3 in their side. The amount of movement OFF the ball, the way Smith ran the forwards around, the way Cronk controlled the backs was mind blowing. Constant movement, constant attack on the opposition. It sounds simple enough, but do it for 80mins and you’ll win more than you’ll lose.

Forecast of 35c in Canberra on Saturday, and about 30c at kick off. Slight chance of a shower on Monday and Thursday at this stage, but the whole week is 30c+. Should be a dry and fast tack.

Went to the Raider’s fan forum to read up on the upcoming match; was laughing at how delusional they are. They even have the perfect excuse that they don’t have a “full strength” team should we end up taking them to the cleaners.

They mention our right side defence is poor and even blaming Cobbo’s poor defence on the last Rorter’s “try”. They certainly learnt how to whinge and complain from old Sticky!

My youngest is feeling bad for backing the Raiders against my team. She now wants to go for both. I told her not to worry about me, Broncos are winning anyway, so I'll be fine.

Eldest is the opposite. Already starting with the Broncos cheating accusations... a true Raiders fan, already blaming the ref.
