Israel Folau had played 52 NRL games and an Origin series before Bennett picked him.
I erased him from my broncos memory same with Anthony Seibold anyone else that should be erased

I’m probably most intrigued and curious about Oates, Cobbo, Hunt and Baker.
Baker for sure, keen to see him.

Hunt for me is mainly because of position after losing Capes. Want to see what our stocks are going to be like behind Riki and Piakura.

hunt played on the right last weekend right? think he ran some good lines
Yeah ran hard. Showed some silky hands too, with quickhands leading to mariner getting down the sideline in the 2nd third, and good offload to black but was unfortunately put down.

He is bigger and heavier than riki so I would be giving him very simple instructions, make your tackles, run hard lines and catch it when it is passed to you. Get him to watch liam martin and play a similar game.

I'm not too worried about Oates, and more curious than concerned about Selwyn's transition to centre. He's less of a bumbling klutz than he used to be. I think he'll be okay. Maybe even a revelation.

I'll be keeping an eye on Mariner. Jesse's nose is in front at this point.

Billy and Tyson have nothing to prove, but I'll be interested to see if Billy's learnt any new tricks over the preseason. They should both be under the pump by the end of the season, but they're safe for now.

For me, it's all about Jock Madden. I need a blinder from him. His record is pretty underwhelming so far. I would be considering cutting him loose. Harsh maybe, but we're not just hunting a premiership, we're building a new dynasty.

I can understand team list this weekend EXCEPT no half on the bench. No need for Reynolds to play 80 mins, just isn't. Have falls or rogers on the bench (black was great but he doesn't need more hype in the media, just let him slowly cook). Rogers might play a few this year too

Felt he provided good protection to Coby as well... he was quick off the line and physical in defence.

The try that came through Coby's edge was after Hunt was off the field and was probably one of the first times Wynnum were actually able to get at him 1v1

Black has trouble giving up his inside shoulder and Wynnum exposed it. Thats his team; they would have known exactly how to expose him.

Sailor, Paix and walters are all capable of spending time at 6. No way Reyno plays 80.
