Leota out jumps everyone and scores. Two tries in three games.

Souths look better with no Broncos.
Because they know they have to do it instead of waiting around for contracted players to do its

Semu with a Te Kura try, he's gone alright starting for the first time. Fantastic set from the Magpies to get down there and have a go.

Smart run from Semu to be near the posts and make it hard to get him.

Leota hat-trick. Huge pass do or die cut-out pass from Kelly to put the winger over.

Neither side wants to defend.

Looks like the Tigers will hold on.

Magpies with a few opportunities late but a couple of poor options hurt them. Ferguson found himself with the kicking duties on one set and then Tomane got white line fever and lost the ball early in the set. In the end they tired themselves out with their kick and chase mentality - that effort on Williamson really proved costly.

A couple of promising signs from the young Broncos contingent in Semu and Leota.

Wow. He’s had a good game. The Q cup experience will be super valuable for him

Yeah I know it sounds odd when someone scores three tries but I don't think he did too much outside of that in general play.

His general play needs a lot of work.

I can imagine. He’s certainly gotta work harder and understand the role of modern wingers in doing the tough runs. That said he’s taken his opportunities today which is one big tick

Just saw the 2022 Player of the Year scored the match winner against the defending premiers.

Between him and Fuller the past few weeks have been a strong endorsement for the competition.

Kicked goals too, he was a delight to watch in 22.

Purdue nice vision, kick and chase try against the Pride. Four tries in four Cup games now. He's certainly got something going on. He's so quick thinking and reacting.

About the only positive for the Cutters. Gone from top of the table to outside the eight with four straight losses.

10. Va’a Semu – Souths Logan Magpies

On the opposite side of the park to Hope, Semu was solid for Souths Logan. The prop scored one try, ran for 155 metres, had one tackle break and one line break, and made 13 tackles. Other props who impressed include Sunshine Coast duo Patrice Siolo and Lazarus Vaalepu.

5. Israel Leota – Souths Logan Magpies

Young gun Leota was a star for the Magpies on Sunday, running in a hat-trick in a high-scoring clash with the Brisbane Tigers. Keeping his side in the game, Leota also had 151 run metres, three tackle breaks and one line break. Other wingers who made an impact in Round 10 included PNG duo Brandon Nima and Solo Wane, and Sunshine Coast's Harrison O'Toole.

Semu was impressive, really tried hard to fill the Te Kura role and scored a good try. First run on game I think he did well.
