Judging by what's being said on 360, I think he's gotten a taste of Seibold and wants out.

He'd be an unreal get for the Titans if they forgave him
They've just said on 360 Manly are now going to offer the 2 years he wants to try tempt him to stay
Old Seibs strikes againJudging by what's being said on 360, I think he's gotten a taste of Seibold and wants out.
Same thing he did years ago.Not a great sign tho, is it? Negotiations playing out on live TV. To drag it into the public sphere like that, their talks were not in a good place. This is basically DCE's corner grabbing a megaphone with a big "can we get serious now?"
I can’t see Reynolds going to another club, especially if he has to move his family again. With DCE potentially moving on to keep his career going... wondering what the general thoughts around here are if Reynolds wants to go around again?
I would absolutely want to extend him another year and would hate to see him head to another club, but the big question is whether we have the cap space to keep him.
Even though we have Bhunt on the books for next year I do think there is a massive drop off between him and Reynolds.
My thought has also always been about keeping Reynolds on as a halves coach after he retires. The wording from Bhunt after he signed and did the interview maybe with Dobbo?? sounded like he's being lined up as the halves coach.
To me Bhunt is more of a heads up running half, which is dependent on natural talent rather than teaching/coaching... whereas Reynolds is an elite game managing half with one of the best kicking games seen over the course of his career... all things that are very teachable and basically missing from all young halves coming through.
I'd hate to see him move to a different club and we potentially lose that opportunity to keep him around for a long long post playing career.
I hope so, but his tone seems to be different ever since Kevvie got sacked and moron Gordie has been on his back blaming him for everything.I can’t see Reynolds going to another club, especially if he has to move his family again.
Will either sign on another year at a 400-500k ish deal with loaded up 3rd party deals or will join coaching/football staff in some way or another.
Madge has already sung his praises in pressers so assume Kevvie going won’t negatively impact Reynolds with a good history with Madge. Maybe if we had a Seibs or Ryles different perspective for Reynolds.I hope so, but his tone seems to be different ever since Kevvie got sacked and moron Gordie has been on his back blaming him for everything.

Meanwhile, Souths fans must still shake their heads in disbelief.
Remember, it was way back in 2021 that Reynolds was let go because the Bunnies didn’t want to offer him a contract of more than a season at a time after he’d turned 30.
Yet here he is tossing up whether to go around again when he’ll be 36.
If there’s been a bigger recruitment blunder this century I can’t think of it.
That's crazy how things have changed so quickly... although Cherry is known for a backflip or 10... so Manly still not out of it until I see him suit up in a different jerseyDCE said he won't be retiring from origin this year and won't sign with Manly no matter what they offer.
He says he hasn't got any other offers which I don't believe but if that is true, he'll get an offer in his email from the Roosters tomorrow and Dolphins as well.
