Something about how Madge speaks about the team just makes me so keen for this season.
It just feels to me at least, like we finally have the person we needed in charge.
Crazy to even say when we haven't played a trial yet. But he just gives me confidence that he knows what he's doing, where we need to go, and how to get the most from our players.
Super excited for 25.

The media really are trying to get as much milage out of this as they can.
Like there is any chance that ARey won't be captain in 2025.
and in the highly unlikely event Reynolds isn't our captain this year ... I am 100% certain it won't go to a 35 year old new recruit (whose name has been thrown out a bit by this publication) ... it will go to the next long term Broncos captain.

It will be interesting to see how the trials go with the depth players and if we're doing things differently in attack and defence... mostly around the ruck i.e. hitting our front for quick ptbs, holding up in the wrestle, etc.
Also very interested to see how our edge defence performs and the fullback in defence on the goal line... are they trailing around the back following the ball and sweeping around as the last man in defence if the edge defence is beaten. Is the half sweeping around to cover the edge... is the half on the other side of the field falling back to cover fullback in case the attack switches.
If Madge can get our squad playing a consistent style of footy it will make the next man up job easier should we lose someone.

Interesting we still have Karapani. I remember some talk he was going back to Sydney. If he could learn to defend and not throw the ball into the third stand when passing, he could be a weapon.

Still a few on that top 30 I think if they are getting too many minutes/games we are not going to be in a good spot.
Rogers, Jetski, J Hunt to name a couple.
That said, fresh start under the new coach so hopefully we see something in the trials.
