Four year deal at the Broncos. Still at Marsden so massive day.
 
Bears up 16-0 then Puru scores a simple try with Watson falling over. Stephenson's try was simple too just hard running back at the posts.

You'd take 20-10 at half time but don't feel like the Bears are home.
 
Loved the Bryce try, took a hard run got flogged but as soon as Bears are down there he's loaded up ready to go- great hole running close to the line and first try after half time that broke the Seagulls spirit.
 
Innes seals it with his normal run and they can't stop him.

Bears through.

Bears v Dolphins next week.

You're right... if we end up signing him then it will actually be revealed that he was garbage all along.

I haven't heard anything, but he was certainly getting back to his better form today. No mistakes, classic hit on Fifita, try chasing a kick and played 80 minutes.

I think he really wanted the challenge of Fifita.
 
Watching Bryce's try over again, Watson only has eyes to throw it back to McLaren, he throws it back 10m from the try line to McLaren nearly behind him. When McLaren caught it, he has Innes coming around on the right-hand side, he has Bryce on his right as the front man. and Coates is outside Bryce. So, the half back has three options all with huge depth and pace.

He picks Bryce, in between two defenders run 8m to score on a slight angle.

Innes' try, same set up but Bryce goes inside him McLaren dummies that ball and let's Bryce go and then once he's brought the defender to him throws a no look pass to Inness- too quick, When Innes caught the ball there are six defenders in the frame. He goes hard between Stephenson and Morrison- the ball is under his arm 10m out he was never passing. Scores in the corner. Only Stephenson got a hand on him.

Rewind 12 months to see if Bryce has matured in his hole running- Grand Final. Black shovels it off to him on the right and he scores but he's just running straight, and Bears are very flat- certainly not the depth of today and it's not done at pace.

Tweed came up past the ball in the Bryce Grand Final try, that helped too.

I would say ineffective today, the Jets were awful and one training session doesn't help with a new team but in a new team you can say no one is going to make more runs than me.

Nine runs and one from dummy half- which was close to the line trying to barge over. Out of the forwards that's the second most runs- which probably says something about the Jets day.

He got amongst it, under the posts first try with three Blackhawks hanging off him. Second try same under the posts but this time five on him.
 
Is there a possibility jett bryce could make 1 or appearances next year? Sounds (and looked like in the little I've seen) like exactly what we need off the bench. 2nd rower who can cover centre, with hole running and speed. Would make an impact.

Being a broncos fan is dark the last 10-20 years, but I do get a sneaky suspicion it will turn in the next 5 years. The young talent is ALWAYS there but the attitude has always been poor the last 15 years. This next batch will have LITERALLY never seen a broncos premiership in their lifetimes, and theirs competition from redcliffe, and lions winning premierships, they won't grow up spoilt/filled with hot air, in combination with madge drilling them from the get go that he doesn't give a shit if they are special in juniors.
