Rogers stretchered off against Jets.

It looked like he might have torn a ligament in his knee when he was attempting to score. The Jets came from everywhere and Rogers got twisted up in the tackle.

BHQ favourite, Matty Koellner scored a crucial try. Bears held a tight six point lead, with the Jets surging. However, Reuben made an error at the back and the Bears were able to turn the tide. Koellner running straight at the dummy half and fullback and he was too big close to the line.

Christensen was quiet. His one highlight was when he hit Reuben and forced a panic pass which led to a turn-over. I'm not sure what happened exactly, but Christensen was shrugged off a tackle and immediately came to the sideline for Sheldon.

Burleigh go 3 in a row. It was a sloppy performance, but the Bears proved too strong for the Jets. The majority of their points came through the ruck where they were able to catch the Jets napping. At 22-6, it was always going to be difficult for the Jets to fight back and while the game hung in the balance at 22-16, the Jets faltered and the Bears regained their grip on the contest.

I feel like Bears are getting back to their strong forward game. They lost it last season. Think too Jets might have let two wins go to their head a little.

I don’t think Hunt can have Marty and Te Kura on at the same time. Also like Paix and Mozer before them Smoothy and Mozer is clunky.

They are very similar. I’ve said for a while Bukowski throws the best pass but Mozer is two years further along so if yo had to take one today then it’s Mozer.
