So disappointed with Souths, half time up 8-6 and they started well in the wet. But then in the second half Bears just ran away with it.

Souths just made stupid errors. Pride and Semu were the Magpies best.
 
My big sadness for the week why did Bukowski only get the last 20 minutes.

On the flipside, another slow start from Burleigh.

0-10 vs. Hunters
0-12, 12-24 (HT) vs. Cutters
0-16 vs. Pride
0-6, 6-8 (HT) vs. Magpies

Outside of the Hunters game, they've been good enough to come back but they haven't produced an 80 minute performance yet.

Big game coming up in two weeks against the Blackhawks.

Agreed, I have been saying I am really disappointed with Bears this year, just not their normal clinical self. I put it down to no Polotoni think they are adapting without him.

Their forwards just aren't starting well; great they are fighting back but they can only do that so many times. It eventually goes pop.
 
Fa'asuamaleaui backing up for Jets today after playing for Titans yesterday and getting three minutes off the bench.
 
Leota four dropped balls
Black three dropped balls.

Leota now 20
Black now 11.

Leota to Black those are rookie numbers.

I will say it was wet on Saturday but no one else got anywhere near that, Black dropped one cold backing up the inside, Leota came infield to take a run and dropped it cold.

It was just a circus.
 
We should name them Tuesday, they’ll fit right in… though I am concerned Black was backing up, we’ll need to get rid of that first.
 
Leota could’ve survived in the pre-6-again era with the constant dickfingers - Vatuvei was a good example of that. But when possession is even more important now, I can’t ever see him being in first grade unless he’s literally the last player in the clubhouse available for selection.

You can’t risk that many errors
 
Duffy and Clifford v Milford and Black this week.
 
All eyes on Coby tomorrow, I hope he makes it a statement game to show everyone that he is the future. On the flipside, if Duffy kills it I see no reason why we wouldn't look to sign him.

He's not even getting named in BRL anymore, is he injured or just not up to being a professional footballer?
 
Bears 22-18 at HT.

Bears keep going to Leo on Mariner's side and he has three tries. Wouldn't say Marnier has done too much. They keep cutting him out to give Leo tries.
 
Bears 30-28 with 10 minutes to go.

I like the Bears but come on Toowoomba!
