Souths getting run off their feet, not sure Black has even touched the ball yet.

Hunters 22-6- still 10 minutes until HT.

Latrell tries to bat it dead but misses it.

Hunters 28-6

Start thinking about the Ashes Hunt because football is over.

Hunters 46-32

From 40-10 down with 30 minutes to go I guess Souths showed some fight. But that's not got much currency in August.

40-10 and Black took it upon himself to swing the momentum Souths way with a big punt that went deep into the Hunters red. Leota with an excellent chase and they pin the Hunters in their own 40. It was all Magpies in the 2nd half but the clock (and big hit on Siegwalt) beat them. Hunters lucky to get away with it. The camera didn't show it, but PNG were gone and shitting themselves with 6 to go

There is no hard luck story for Souths, you get 40-10 down you are getting what you deserve.

To me the comeback and "nearly" winning has no relevance, that's the 9th game they have lost scoring more than 20 points. They're 10th because they are a 10th place team.

Hunt has missed finals two years in a row now and has a big off-season ahead.

It felt to me as if that the team that sucked less would've won it 😆. Gee whiz the amount of times Souths coughed up the ball after gaining good meters 🤦🏽‍♂️. And then the look of fear in the Hunters faces. Roller coaster of a game

All GC final in the Langer Trophy.

PBC v Keebra next week.

Two best defensive teams easily.

Warbrick back today. Good to see him back.

He was good for the Falcons who were too classy for Jets.

I feel like that's the performance that Wynnum have been looking for all year. Dominated the Hunters in the forwards- massive ground by Grant just outstanding.

Bukowski's defence is becoming top notch; we have seen his big hits this year particularly against Redcliffe and now he's handling it physically and making all his tackles.

80 minutes, yesterday- 36 tackles and that's not easy against PNG.

Bears knock off Devils and now top of the table. Both Broncos teams looking good with one game to go.

What are the chances that Bukowski overtakes Mozer in the pecking order to become our preference as our long term hooker

Hard to compare at the moment, Mozer is home eating ice-cream through a straw and Bukowski is getting ready for his first finals.

I think the next month will be a clear picture, if Bukowski really has a good finals series he might just start November in front.

Yesterday, Hunters came back a bit at 16-4 and can close that gap in five minutes if they are in the mood.

24 minutes to go and Bukowski controlled the set to go the whole field and end the game.

Wynnum start the set on the 20m after a kick.
Bukowski pass from the ground to Grant 30m line.
Disorganised markers, Bukowski goes and buys time and space and brings Tupounia onto the ball now they're just over halfway.
Doesn't get the play the ball he wants so goes off the ground again to Hill on the 40 now.
Hunters have four in the tackle, not a great play the ball but Bukowski goes runs a J line and at the line passes it to Farr into a gap- Wynnum score.

Wynnum 22-4 with 20 to go.

Dudley 23 tries in 18 games this year.
34 in 31 Cup games.

He can end Dolphin's season today.

This is where I think he has it over mozer. Seems a bit more durable, or capable of the physicality.
