Forwards are pedestrian outside Carrigan. Tino needs to stand up. How's Mahoney's form? Feel gross asking but Grant needs limited minutes from the bench at best.
 
Just physically dominated all night. Cotter was completely owned by critter, I mean c'mon, a center cutting your lunch for you mate? hang your head in shame.

Carrigan didn't look any better than he has in club land.

Moe was OK at times.

Tino was undisciplined - he can't play the enforcer, he has all of two brain cells.

Our left edge was putrid.

DCE was done a year ago, how he didn't retire from rep footy last year is a disservice to the team.

Munney is Munney - you get garbage and you get masterclass. You don't get to pick which.

Grant was a massive liability - hasn't been in great form at origin level for quite some time.

Dearden was great - too little too late.

Nanai and Coates were good.

Brocko is right - we just don't have the cattle this year... there's a serious dearth of talent for QLD and we're staring down the barrel of 3:0 this year, possibly next year too.

Bringing Walsh in will change nothing, he'll get ****ing smashed and do nothing all night.

For ****ing once though, I'd love for either QLD or Broncos to not get absolutely dominated in the penalty count in the first 30 though. It keeps happening with the same result.

Yeah was more talking about the cameo at hooker... it didn't look all that natural to him like it does for Bhunt.

Although to be fair it wasn't far off what Harry was providing.

I thought Tino was good. He needs to play longer. He made over 120m in 53mins

Fuuuuuck... too many broncos getting named as replacements in a completely pointless series... NSW are winning 3-0 it doesn't matter who they put in the jerseys
 
Size in the forward pack, drop ponga and id even be dropping either dce or munster. Fotuaka gone. Loriero and fermor gone, put some ****ing middles on the bloody bench! Horsebro, jensen even papalii. Sua is another option.


I hope mam knows what an opportunity he is missing with that suspension. He would be precisely what we need too if he wasn't coming back from suspension and so controversial. I get the Broncos are going shit but imagine walsh and mam with the opportunities in that 2nd half. We had the field position and pressure to claw our way back there.

'Empty' is probably a pretty accurate description of how I feel about the sport, its administration and officiating at the moment.
 
I reckon Mam would kill it at origin. It’s just a shame our best spine player is Munster so I don’t think he’d fit.

Who’s our other halfback options? No one really?

QLD are just so ****ed when it comes to depth and options when the front row is getting dominated and the spine are too old in the case of DCE or horrendously out of form in Grant and Ponga/Walsh. Most of our backs are also too small compared to their counterparts and are getting inevitably ragdolled when they try and go around them, because we sure as hell aren't going through them.

Tough times at the moment for Broncos/Maroons supporters.

Honestly I feel as if NSW have better depth/ options in almost every position. Qld spirit is good and all but **** we are lacking some talent. The middle is so garbage we were forcing lateral passes constantly and getting destroyed. Our backs make about half the amount of metres as NSW backs. Munster had a shocker the days of him pulling off a solo BS line break look like they are up. Maybe they can pull out a miracle next game but NSW just look so much bigger and talented

1. Walsh
6. Mam
7. Dearden
9. Grant (because who the **** else is there?)

This was always the future of QLD's spine, may as well rip the band aid off and get them going now. But **** me we look in deep shit when it comes to the forwards....
 
I thought Munster tried hard but **** me he is not playing with much else in that spine atm. Bring Cam Smith out of retirement and he would straighten the attack up quick smart.
 
Tino and Carrigan were fine. Tino probably needs more mins but they need more help.

Mo's first stint was all defence so he didn't get many metres, but I'd probably rather Horsborough.

Then for the bench, I don't get Loiero or Fermor. A smaller lock isn't giving you impact you need, and Fermor is a back rower who got **** all mins. What's the point?

Outside Horse though, it's slim pickings for who can come into the forwards.
