They seem to really pick and choose when to apply the rules too - like the Kafusi off the ball hit in the back he copped weeks for a year or two ago. Reece has been smashed off the ball many times and I think we've seen a couple of penalties and no-one banned?

Do you want electric, all risk players who throw caution to the wind and play super exciting footy? Yes? Well, do something to fucking protect them from getting his literal face broken, concussions and absolutely dog hit off the ball.

I would have actually liked them to bring a new rule in after Suaali's hit. That shit should have been a situation where the injury should impact the punishment. Another quality example was Latrell's hit on Manu, that was a good long ban, but still not enough. There needs to be some consequence when it gets to a certain threshold above accidental and more into FAFO.

Yep he was even copping them in 2023... Feldt shot him about 3 times after passing and wasn't penalised or put on report for any of them.

The NRL have a chance to cut it off before something serious occurs... even though Reece has been taken out several times already... and they are putting their head in the sand.

At some point someone will get taken out... probably Reece with how teams are specifically targetting him at the moment... and then the NRL will be reactive and finally do something.

In Saturday's earlier game, Brisbane Broncos stars Payne Haas, Reece Walsh and Kotoni Staggs are in no danger of missing their Round 1 match against the Roosters, despite leaving the field early in the side's Pre-Season Challenge win over the Bulldogs.

Walsh had ice on his knee, while initial fears Haas had re-aggravated a lower leg injury were soon dismissed. Staggs however was experiencing 'quad tightness' and was taken off early as a precaution.

Titans veteran Kieran Foran will have surgery on a biceps tear while Dolphins back Jack Bostock is out of the early rounds with a knee issue.
