Vegas would still need to be one of the host cities as IIRC, They had a 5 year contract with the NRL

M Johns is a good footy brain, and theres some other good minds on that list too, and then there is CONEHEAD... **** knows what he has convinced them he can do for the club, but yeah.

Do we end up like Street Fighter II Champion Edition where it's Penrith vs Penrith but one of them is wearing blue instead? Oh we had that already when they played the Dogs.

I'll take a stab at the teams we'll be playing twice... there's 8 of them


- Cows, Titans and Dolphins (automatic Qld derby's)
- Storm... because we are destined to play these cheating ***** twice a year until the end of time... or until they turn to shit and then we'll only be getting them once a year
- Rabbits (Wayne and DFifi revenge games + Sydney will expect them to be good)
- Rorters... we seem to get them twice all the time

Those are probably the definites... the rest are 50/50

- I'd say Panthers... we knocked them out of their streak in an all timer... the only issue is they don't have a home ground... so if they get us in magic round again then we'll only play them once UNLESS NRL want the clickbait #PenaltyBroncos of sending a team to Suncorp against Broncos twice in a year

- Canberra could be a double, because of the finals week 1... but they could also just make us play them once down in Canberra as a "revenge game" / Walsh vs Young. If they kept Fogarty we'd definitely be getting them twice.

- Dogs or Parra is a typical game they make us play twice, but only if they're going well. From 2020 on we were basically getting Parra twice a year every year, because they were killing it. Then they turned to shit and Dogs started coming good so we got them twice last year instead. Dogs backend of the year was terrible though, so they might be back to once a year again... and it may be too early for Parra to be good so NRL might be scared to give us them twice as well... but they have Jonah

- I'm putting Wahs in here, but I'm not sure we'll get them twice... we absolutely should be getting Wahs twice though... it's a guaranteed monster crowd at Suncorp and they're tracking well, but their end of year form without Metcalf was horrendous and they've gotta send us to NZ during origin... so maybe they'll chuck a Suncorp home game vs Wahs near the end of the year when Metcalf might be back. Just chuck it on an afternoon game or Saturday 3pm/5.30pm and it will rate.


Guarantees to only get once...
- Tigers (haven't played them twice in something like 13 years)
- Sharks (they don't rate so we'll be getting them once during origin as per usual)
- Knights (won the spoon so we ain't getting them twice any time soon)
- Dargs (shit team so we ain't getting them twice any time soon)

I don't think we'll get Manly twice, because they're all still shitty about home games at Suncorp and apparently it's the broncos fault and not their useless owners that sell anything they can to turn a profit.

Somehow broncos will be playing 32 games next year because the only input from Vlando will be "just pick something that rates well"

They'd dump in all the attendance and viewership numbers and thats why we play the same teams twice every year and the same teams once every year.

It is what it is at this point. Give us everyone in the top 8 three times.

Top 8 now becomes top 7 since we are one of them. 3 x 7 is only 21 games so we can squeeze the rest of the top 3 in again to make it 24 games.
 
All this bullshit to try to arrest the momentum teams have in the 6-again error. It's so stupid. Get rid of 6-agains. Blow penalties if it's warranted, and teams WILL stop pushing the rules. ****ing morons.

It really is that simple.

But then Vlandal would have to admit he ****ed up and he'd rather destroy the game, the arrogant prick.

I'd love to know how to get involved in this review, short of emailing the NRL and asking to be part of it.
