Q-CUP 2026 Queensland Cup Discussion

The Bears win the comp then add Kane Bradley, Mason Teague, Luke Gale, Paul Turner, Sione Hopoate and Ryan Foran.

Haas not getting much ball- Did anyone but Payne get a meal in the Haas house?

Tigers 4-0.

As Souths drop the ball cold coming out of their end after defending again- Football is back.

I feel safe.

Baker drops the ball over the line and responds with a big shot on one of the Tigers.

It's on here at Langlands!

I didn't think it was high, but he carried on over the top of the knocked-out player. Not great.

Play like Hudson, don't behave like Hudson.

Not a fan of Taylor pulling an Under 8s and running around the opposition, but he did show some good pace.

I was just about to give Taylor a rap for his composure to get that repeat set and subsequent penalty for the Magpies.

Then he scores a run away try off the kick off.

Somebody better clip that.

Well, I'll be, Souths with three in the sin bin, down by six show resolve and come back to defend and win 14-6.

Siosaia Poese with a round one double. Backing up his five in three games in NRLQ and Mal Meninga season.

First one pretty easy on the right hand side, didn't get to show his pace or footwork.

Mearns try showed his footwork and great pass.

Second one- 70m off an offload, backing up the middle and casually beats five and puts the ball down one handed.

Broncos' half Tokoaitua Owen scored too, on the right stepping back inside, his first Meninga game coming from NZ.

Souths second try holds the ball up nicely in two hands and buys some time.

His combination with Poese could make the Magpies Meninga season.

Do we have dates and times for when broncos are playing the two Qcup games?

P.s. I didn;t realise that we've added the Sunshine Coast Falcons as an affiliate club

Not sure they're an affiliate... I think we've just created like a partnership with them?

This popped up ages ago when storm pulled out of Sunshine Coast.

I think we've still got our normal affiliates and this one is just to fill the storm void and create a presence on the Sunny Coast

I just assumed they were a new affiliate since the article from the Broncos web site said they were 😛

from the article:

The Broncos will open their campaign on Saturday, February 14, taking on new affiliate the Sunshine Coast Falcons at 7.10pm at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
