They don't send the Broncos train and trial players and Broncos don't send them anyone. It's just the academy and mainly the girls and community engagement.

Reed is in charge of the area and has been since 2016. Reed coaches their Under 19 girls too.

I watched a girls trial game (U17 ?) Falcons vs Dolphins the other week at Nambour .
I was impressed with the tackling techniques . A few times there were half breaks that I thought could lead to tries . Nope ! Those girls have been coached on tackling really well .
 
Malone with a double- game didn't reach any great heights.
 
My Broncos/Cyril and Meninga plays.

- Poese footwork in his second try.
- Taylor's try great run- fend and speed to run that far and score and beat the fullback.
 
Anyone seen a teams list for our trial against the Falcons? Low priority for Broncos comms team right now, maybe we won't even see one before kick off

Maybe 9 squad players , the rest T&T ?
The other 20 or so are in the UK . Opportunity to stand out and maybe get another run when the big boys return ?

Plus some juniors I’m guessing. Not really expecting any T&T guys to crack the squad, but good to get a look anyway. Also not expecting any juniors to do a Walsh and blow us away, but maybe some aren’t too far off Top 30 contention.

Dreams and speculations .

BTK should be in there , Jesse Arthars , Bukowski , Duffy . Guys who an injury or suspension to the top 19 guys and they`re next cab off the rank .

Waqa least likely to play out of any of these, message to the general public: do not bank on him! (watch Semu instead) We'll need to borrow a hooker from somewhere unless Cam wants to really put on a show, I wouldn't be opposed. Rogers has been injured and won't play, looking like Farr at 6.
 
I expect the Broncos website to post the team-list sometime later in the week. They'll be coy about it but expect to see a few affiliate players. I think you've covered a few of the names Bfan, but I'd also expect to see Mason Teague, Takitau Mapapalangi, Kane Bradley etc. among the group.

There should be a stream as well, although expect some technical issues.
 
Worthing named on the wing for the Bears U/17s.

Best named for Ipswich. Baxter was with the Magpies last year. Typically it's not a good sign when they switch to a non-affiliate. As far as I know, Baxter signed a long term deal with the Broncos, I wonder if they had a change of heart and decided to let him play alongside his Ipswich team mates for U/17s before transitioning him to an affiliate next year? Which is usually the Broncos modus operandi when it comes to the juniors.

There better be a stream and it better be awful, it’s a highlight of every season.

Has Jamal Shibasaki featured anywhere in pre-season/ do we know which affiliate he's been allocated to? I recall him being listed as a T&T? But not seen any evidence of his existence since.

There's a probably a reason for this, he's fallen by the wayside big time, i.e. he's not very good
